Diablo 2: Resurrected marches on in its post-launch journey with Season 5, which encourages us to level fresh characters and kill demons for awesome gear. If you plan on getting as much done as possible while it's live, you'll want to keep track of its start and end dates.
Guessing Diablo 2: Resurrected's Season 5 start and end dates is rather tricky before Blizzard shares official details about them. The developer's initial plans were to keep each season running for about four months, but that hasn't proven to be the case for all of them so far.
Diablo 2: Resurrected Season 5 Start and End Dates
Assuming things will get back on track after Diablo IV launches, we can try to estimate when Diablo II: Resurrected's Season 5 start and end dates might occur.
The game's fourth season went live at the start of May 2023, which makes us believe that Season 5's start date could occur at some point in September. It would then end in December 2023 or January 2024.
- Diablo II: Resurrected Season 5 start date: September 2023 (GameWatcher estimation)
- Diablo II: Resurrected Season 5 end date: December 2023/January 2024 (GameWatcher estimation)
The series' release schedule is busier as spring draws to a close but, as the third game's post-launch support winds down and focus falls on the fourth, this hopefully means that D2R will return to receiving beefier updates and a more stable seasonal schedule.
More details about what the action-RPG's fifth season has in store for us will likely be shared over the coming months.
That is what we know so far about Diablo II: Resurrected's Season 5 start and end dates. For more on the series, here is when Diablo IV's Server Slam kicks off.
