Are there any essential cheats for Cyberpunk 2077 that gamers should know? Is it possible to use Console Commands in Cyberpunk 2077 upon its release? Similar to other video games, Console Commands and Cheats can provide players with the ability to bypass limitations set by developer CD Projekt Red, thereby altering their gaming experience.
Enhance your Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay with options such as activating god mode for invulnerability, using quick teleportation to traverse across the vast map, summoning weapons and vehicles at will, or employing the classic no-clip cheat. This last cheat allows exploration beyond the game's boundaries, providing a unique peek into the infinite void.
Cyberpunk 2077 Console Commands and Cheats
At its launch, access to console commands and cheats in Cyberpunk 2077 was restricted. However, akin to the scenario with The Witcher 3, it wasn't long before modders discovered a method to unlock the game's console, paving the way for cheats to be unlocked.
While we guide you on how to equip V with a plethora of items, or activate god mode and noclip, it's crucial to remember that the Cyberpunk 2077 end-user license agreement strictly prohibits the usage, creation, and distribution of cheats. In the context of Cyberpunk 2077 being a single-player game, it remains uncertain if CD Projekt Red will penalize players utilizing cheats and console commands.
As such, it's recommended to proceed with caution and ensure your game files are regularly backed up, although since launch we've had no reports of any issues using the console commands we will soon list below.
You could initially enable Cyberpunk 2077 console commands and cheats by using the CyberConsole mod, although that's no longer supported as of Hotfix 1.05. Instead, the Cyber Engine Tweaks mod now provides similar functionality, letting you access the console.
To bring up the console, simply press the tilde key (~) that's next to the 1 key. Keep in mind that this might not apply to all keyboard layouts.
There currently are no options for Cyberpunk 2077 god mode or noclip cheats. You can, however, spawn a large number of items, although they may not always have the desired rarity.
This will likely change over the coming weeks and months, as modders dig deeper into the game's code. For now, here's a list of useful Cyberpunk 2077 console commands and cheats:
